Data & Privacy

A plain-English overview of how EditMuse handles data and protects privacy.

Our privacy commitments

EditMuse is designed with privacy in mind. Here's what that means in practice.

No shopper identity required

EditMuse's core concierge operation does not require or collect shopper personal identity information. Shoppers can discover products without logging in.

Merchant-controlled integrations

Optional analytics integrations are enabled by merchants. When active, anonymous event data is shared — no additional personal data is collected.

Industry-standard security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow secure development practices and conduct regular security assessments.

Clear deletion process

Privacy and data deletion requests can be submitted through our contact form or by emailing privacy@editmuse.ai.

What EditMuse does

  • Accesses your product catalog to generate recommendations
  • Records anonymous session data for analytics
  • Stores merchant account information for billing and support
  • Sends anonymous events to integrations when enabled by merchant

What EditMuse doesn't require

  • Shopper names, emails, or account information for core operation
  • Shopper login or authentication
